About ATR

Less routine friction. More room for the work that matters.

Most businesses don’t lose opportunities for lack of effort. They lose them in the gaps: a call nobody returns, a follow-up that slips, information that never makes it from one tool to the next. ATR exists to close those gaps, protect the opportunities a business has already earned, and give people more room for judgment, relationships, expertise, and trust.

Our mission

Automate the Routine. Humanize the Exceptional.

Two halves of one idea. The first is what makes the second possible.

Automate the Routine

Work that follows the same pattern every time should happen on its own, reliably, every time.

  • Repetitive follow-up
  • Routing each inquiry to the right person
  • Reminders and confirmations
  • Moving information between systems
  • Routine questions and interactions
  • Recurring operational work

Humanize the Exceptional

When a moment calls for judgment, it deserves a person’s full attention, not what’s left after the busywork.

  • Relationships
  • Judgment calls
  • Expertise
  • Trust
  • Unusual situations
  • The conversations that matter most to a customer

What we believe about AI

AI is a tool, not the point.

Used well, AI makes a business more responsive. Used for its own sake, it adds complexity. So we’re specific about where it belongs.

We don’t believe

  • Every problem needs AI.
  • Replacing people is automatically progress.
  • More tools make a better system.
  • Impressive technology equals business value.

We do believe in

  • Automating what’s repetitive.
  • Using AI where interpretation or conversation adds real value.
  • Keeping work that should follow fixed rules on fixed rules, so it’s predictable and testable.
  • Using the fewest moving parts that solve the problem.
  • Measuring business outcomes, not activity.

The ATR systems approach

We look at the system, not the isolated tool.

Websites, CRM, automation, AI assistants, and follow-up only matter to the extent they improve how information and opportunity move through a business. So we look at the whole path, from the first inquiry to what gets measured.

How opportunity moves through a business
  1. Capture

Every inquiry lands somewhere it can’t be lost.

  2. Respond

People hear back while they’re still interested.

  3. Follow up

Next steps happen on time, without relying on memory.

  4. Convert

The path from interest to a yes stays clear.

  5. Recover

Missed and stalled opportunities get another chance.

  6. Measure

You can see what’s working and where it breaks.

The founder

Why I built Automate the Routine.

Todd Kundrat, founder of Automate the Routine

Todd Kundrat

Founder, Automate the Routine

I’ve spent more than two decades working in environments where reliability matters, handoffs matter, and small process gaps can create very real problems. Across manufacturing, fabrication, operations, and oil and gas, I learned to look past the symptom and find the part of the system that is actually breaking down.

That way of thinking is what eventually became Automate the Routine. I kept seeing the same pattern in business: good people spending too much time chasing information, repeating work, following up manually, and trying to hold disconnected processes together. Most of the time, the answer wasn’t another piece of software. It was a better system.

ATR exists to build those systems. The goal is not to automate people out of the picture. It is to remove the repetitive work and friction that keep them from doing the things people are actually best at: making decisions, building trust, solving unusual problems, and taking care of customers.

“Technology should make a business more responsive and more human, not more complicated.”
